Unlock Limit Login Attempts – WordPress

There is no point in me duplicating somebody else’s perfectly good post about this, so if you want to know (and to remind me next time I need to know), go here:


Personally, I’d rename the limit-login-attempts folder in /wp-content/plugins temporarily (no need to delete it if it’s just a temporary thing). If you do this, you can log in, but you can’t edit the plugin, so…

…if you have database / mysql access, run the command mentioned, then log in and check the plugin settings.
